Not yet — Givium Foundation has applied for registered charity status and expects approval in 2027. Once approved, we'll be able to issue tax receipts for contributions.

Yes. Around 90% of your contribution reaches vetted charities in the community you selected — the rest covers the cost of running Givium securely (6.9%) and payment processing (3–4%). Your net contribution never leaves the community you chose.

Yes, any time. You're never locked in — adjust your amount, switch causes, or pause your Contribution Plan whenever you like.

Yes. Choosing between causes can be hard — so you don't have to. The minimum for your first cause is $10/month; each additional cause you add is a minimum of $5/month. You'll set this up during checkout, and can adjust anytime from your Contribution Plan.

Occasionally. Every charity on Givium is reviewed against our published Eligibility Framework on an ongoing basis, so the roster may be updated to make sure your contribution keeps reaching organizations that are active, well-run, and doing the work.

It's not split evenly across every charity. Your contribution is pooled with your neighbours' and allocated across the cause's focus areas based on real community need — you can see the exact breakdown, and every charity it reaches, on that cause's page.

Around 90% of your contribution reaches local programs directly. Givium keeps 6.9% to run the service securely — the vetting, the pooling, the reporting back — and payment processing takes 3–4%.

Yes. Choose how you're shown — your first name and last initial, initials only, or fully anonymous. Contributing in memory or in honour of someone? You can show that too. Change it anytime from your Contribution Plan settings.

Your first contribution is charged the day you set up your Contribution Plan, then on that same date every month after. You can change your withdrawal date anytime, also from your Contribution Plan settings.
